Thank you for your interest in becoming a POPS mentor. Applicants must be a current or former Children's Mercy parent or primary caregiver. To ensure the safety of our patients, families, staff and volunteers, Children's Mercy requires all mentors to undergo a background check upon initial enrollment in the POPS program. In addition, Children's Mercy will run recurring background checks as part of their standard practice.
